Our Current Emotional Education

We're socialized to do 4 main things with emotions:

1. RESIST.

People confuse resisting with feeling.

Resisting is like holding the door shut with all your strength.

Resisting emotion is the reason you feel exhausted much of the time.

2. REACT.

When you react by yelling, screaming, becoming defensive (like a porcupine) or crying, it may seem like feeling, but it's not.

Feeling doesn't look like acting in a dramatic play.

3. AVOID.

Society has made avoiding feelings easy and socially acceptable.

The main numbing behaviors are overeating, overdrinking, overscrolling, overworking and isolating.

4. PRETEND.

You're taught that being happy is the goal of life.

Therefore, negative emotions mean either something has gone terribly wrong or there's something wrong with you.

You hide your emotions behind pretty masks in order to fit in, pretend you're "normal" and make others comfortable.

This illusion has grown dramatically due to the rise of social media.

The Doodle Your Emotion™ Workshop is a guided online live workshop that helps you unlock your emotional superpower using a scientifically-backed approach that’s fun, creative, and effortless.

It combines simple creativity, life coaching tools, cognitive-behavioral concepts, empowering questioning, and mindfulness.

Some students use it in conjunction with therapy, but it is not therapy.

Live workshop is 60 - 75 minutes. All sessions are Central Time Zone (same as Chicago).

Don't worry if you can't attend live. You'll receive the replay the same day after the live event has ended.
And the replay is available for 7 full days, so you have plenty of time to watch even if you're busy. We've found that this is plenty of time - while having a deadline - to ensure this doesn't become unused "shelf help".

What if I’m not creative or can’t draw?

You don’t need artistic talent. If you can draw a stick figure or scribble an imperfect shape, you can get massive value from this workshop.

Doodle Your Emotions™ isn’t about making art—it’s about making emotional shifts. You’ll use simple marks on paper to process emotions visually, so they stop running your life from the background. No skill. No pressure. Just transformation.

Do I need to purchase a lot of art supplies?

If you want to play full out, we do recommend watercolors. A low-cost children's set will do!  A simple supply list is given after you enroll.
